From June 28th to July 5th, Dalian University of Technology (DUT) conducted three summer camps.
Chinese Bridge Qatar Summer Campfor Foreign Students
The first phase of the program "Chinese Bridge Qatar Summer Camp for Foreign Students" was officially opened at the end of June. With the theme of "Contemporary China - Emerging Dalian", this summer camp is the first program supported by the Language Cooperation Center for students from Gulf countries to visit China.This is also the first time that DUT has held the study abroad program in China for our overseas friends from the Arab countries in the Gulf.
"Romantic Journey" Cross-Strait Science and Technology Culture Camp
On the morning of July 4, the 12th "Romantic Journey" Cross-Strait Science and Technology Culture Camp was opened in DUT. Sun Quan, Deputy Director of Taiwan Affairs Office of Dalian Government, Bai Yang, Deputy Director of Exchange and Liaison Office, leaders of the Youth League Committee, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, School of Mechanical Engineering and other departments of the University, 34 campers from eight colleges and universities in Taiwan, as well as 23 campers from DUT participated in the opening ceremony.
Dalian University of Technology-Belarusian State University 2023 International Summer Camp Program
Dalian University of Technology-Belarusian State University (DUT-BSU) 2023 International Summer Camp Program was officially opened on July 5th. The camp was jointly organized and planned by the School of International Education, DUT-BSU Joint Institute and BSU-DUT Joint Institute, with strong support from the Center for Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education.
These short-term exchange programs mark the fruitful results of DUT's foreign exchange and cooperation, leading more international partner universities to understand DUT and laying a solid foundation for profound cooperation in the future.
In the future, DUT will innovate its working methods and continue to develop rich short-term exchange programs for local and international students, so as to further enhance the level of exchange and cooperation.
