DUT Delegates Attended Asian Universities Science and Technology Innovation Forum

On January 27th, DUT delegation attended Asian Universities Science and Technology Innovation Forum in Hong Kong. Vice President Luo Zhongxuan, as the only representative of mainland Chinese universities, was invited to deliver a keynote speech entitled "Responding to the Needs of the New Era, Improving University Strength and Promoting Win-win Development".



This year, the forum was jointly hosted by China Association for International Exchange of Personnel and Japan Science and Technology Agency. 11 universities from China (including Hong Kong and Macao), 10 universities from Japan, and 29 Presidents (vice Presidents) of 8 universities from other 7 Asian countries shared experience and communicated thought around the topic of strengthening the construction of international platform, promoting Asian universities attraction of global youth talents and advancing the development of science and technology innovation.


During the visit to Hong Kong, the delegation also visited the University of Macau and signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on Education and Science and the Student Exchange Agreement, and attended the celebration activity of Chinese New Year held by the Hong Kong alumni association.
