The Joint Institute of the Dalian University of Technology and Belarusian State University (hereinafter referred to as “DUT-BSU Joint Institute”) is a major initiative of Dalian University of Technology in response to the “Action on Jointly Build the Education of One Belt and One Road” proposed by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. The Joint Program in Mechanical Engineering Between Dalian University of Technology and University of California, Irvine (“Joint Program”), which is called “Mechanical Design & Manufacturing and Their Automation” at DUT and “Mechanical Engineering” at UCI, combines a broad-based education in the engineering sciences with a strong grounding in quantitative, problem-solving, design, and communications skills.
