Sept.27--DUT signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Department of Communications of Liaoning Province.The signing ceremony was held in the second conference room on the third of the International Conference Center and presided over by Yao Weian, deputy dean of the Research Institute of Science and Technology.
Academician Shen Changyu, President of DUT, Liu Huanxin, director of the Department of Communications in Liaoning Province and the chief engineer Yuan Guangqin were present at the signing ceremony, along with relevant personnels from the Foreign Affairs Division of Science and Technology, Transportation Planning and Design Institute,Traffic Science Research Institute, Information Communication Terminal, DUT Research Institute of Science and Technology,Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering of DUT , DUT School of Transportation and Logistics and DUT School of Computer Science and Technology.
On behalf of DUT, President Shen acknowledged in his address the great support of the Department of Communications in Liaoning Province over the years.He said that both parties had a solid foundation for a wide range of cooperations. Conclusion of this agreement would form a new platform for further cooperations between both sides.
Liu said that DUT had provided great technological and manpower support to the social and economic development of Liaoning Province, especially the development of the cause of traffic and transportation. Over the years, both parties had achieved fruitful achievements in terms of scientific researched, academic exchanges, development of talents and student internship. It was hoped that both sides could work harder to achieve greater results in the future and realize a win-win strategic target.
