Nov 25 – On November 20th-23rd, the tenth CITI CUP Financial Innovation Application Competition was held in Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. 188 teams from 63 universities, including Nanjing University, Wuhan University,Sun Yat-sen University, etc., took part in this competition. Broker, under the conduct of Lu Kun, from School of Software Technology, DUT won the third prize with their project “Risk Quantification and Real-time Automatic Processing of Supply Chain Financing Platform Uunder the Big Data”.
The competition was held in May this year and selected 20 teams to National Finals. Broker ranked the fifth.
Broker was established in 2011 with most of the members School of Software Technology in DUT. As it develops, and Dongbei University of Finance and Economics also joined the team. They spent their spare time in project working together.
In 2008 and 2013, teams from DUT have already won CITI CUP twice. Besides, CITI and DUT have also established cooperation in many projects.
Founded in 2005, CITI CUP has become a very important competition in financial informatization and gained a lot of attention and support from Chinese government, education field and industry field. Due to DUT’s well-established cooperation with CITI and students’ active participation, agreement has been made that the eleventh CITI CUP Financial Innovation Application Competition will be held in DUT.
