Nov 27 – Recently, Professor Liu Bo of Faculty of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology published an essay “RhoA and Membrane Fluidity Mediates the Spatially Polarized Src/FAK Activation in Response to Shear Stress” (Sci Rep 2014，DOI:10.1038/srep07008) onScientific Reportsas the lead author.
Based on the technology of FRET established by Professor Roger Yonchien Tsien, winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Liu’s essay integrated genetic engineering, mechanics, and image progressing, etc. and was of vital significance in that field.
Founded in 2011 by Nature Publishing Group,Scientific Reportsconcerns about every area of natural science and is pretty strict with the quality of data. Cao Tun of Faculty of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, DUT once published one essay onScientific Reportsas well.
Liu’s essay was sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China and NIH of theUS. Parts of the research were also accomplished in UIUC and UCSD of the US.
