Consensus 1: talent cultivation is the basis.

People in charge of the teaching affairs division and postgraduate school proposed that DUT should support the students to go abroad studying and provide students with more opportunities to participate in international academic conference. Meantime, more attention should be paid to students from poor families and more exchange opportunities should be provided with them. Representatives also had discussions on improving the international awareness of undergraduate students and enhancing quality and quantity of overseas students.

Consensus 2: scientific research is the core.

More efforts should be made to improve top-level design and set up development orientation to deal with relevant problems. It is important to make management system innovative and further expand mutual-benefit partnership with academic masters overseas. With regard to the improvement of scientific research internationalization, representatives believed that we needed to integrate the teaching resources to ensure long-term effective international cooperation. More importance should be attached to cultivate top-level teachers and build platforms for scientific research.

Consensus 3: teacher resource internationalization is the key point.

Representatives hoped DUT could place more emphasis on supporting teachers to study and research abroad, especially for young teachers.
