March 4 –- On the morning of March 4th, DUT held The Forth Session of the Tenth Presidium Enlarged Conference of Teacher’s Congress in the 512 meeting room of theMainBuilding. During the meeting, the report on Teacher’s congress agenda and the change and adjustment of representatives was adopted. It was hosted by Wei Xiaopeng and all members of the presidium and other Party secretaries attended the meeting.
After the preparation of the conference is all done, on the afternoon of March 4th, DUT will hold the opening ceremony, during which all attendance will listen to the 2014 financial report as well as the report on the submissions of the Third Session of the Tenth Teacher’s Congress, and give credit to outstanding submissions and organizers. On March 5th, all representatives will discuss in groups. The closing ceremony will be held on March 6th.
When hosting the meeting, Wei Xiaopeng pointed out that the Teacher’s Congress was held in order to deploy the work every year. It was a good tradition of democratic management. 2015 was the key year for DUT to deepen the reform and initiate the construction of world top university. In that case, the holding of Teacher’s Congress was of great importance. He requested that all representatives should make good preparation on their submissions and attend the conference according to the agenda. Based on widely seeking for suggestions from all the staff, the submissions needed to be of good quality.
Feng Zhenye, the deputy leader of preparatory working group, made a report on preparation works and read out the report on Teacher’s congress agenda and the change and adjustment of representatives, which was adopted by all members.
Besides, some Party members, teachers, officers, leaders of other democratic parties, representatives of young teachers and students were also invited to the conference.
