April 3 -- On the afternoon of April 3rd, DUT formally signs the agreement of strategic cooperation framework with China Ship Scientific Research Center to further promote an omni-directional, multi-level and wide-ranging long-term cooperation by jointly developing the training high-quality innovative personnel on the basis of pleasure cooperation over the years. Director of CSSRC Wen Zhenping, President of DUT Guo Dongming, heads of Institute of Science and Technology, Faculty of Vehicle Engineering and Mechanics, Faculty of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering also attend the signing ceremony.
Guo says that DUT aims at solving significant science and technology problems to fully exploit its comprehensive advantage. Therefore, this cooperation agreement has created favorable conditions for further expansion and trust between both sides.
During the meeting, the two sides conduct in-depth discussions on the specific content and implementation modalities of this cooperation and reach a wide consensus. Afterwards, Wen’s group visit State Key Laboratory of Coastal and Offshore Engineering, etc.
As an important member of two academic organizations of international ship area, ITTC and ISSC, CSSRC establishes close academic exchange and cooperation with hundreds of colleges and universities, research institutes and academic groups from America, England, France, Russia, Japan, Germany, Holland, Norway and so on, which makes a significant contribution to ship and ocean engineering in China.
