April 13 -- The Publicity Department of Party Committee, Youth League Committee, and the Students’ Union jointly organize a series of activities to celebrate the 66thanniversary of DUT and spread knowledge of DUT’s history.
Ten activities are held as follows.
1. A competition about the history of DUT is held on Wechat to spread knowledge of DUT’s history to teachers and students.
2. A video program namedTimeand a long poem namedI’m a tree of DUTdemonstrate the development of DUT.
3. A special gesture signifying the 66thanniversary of DUT is promoted and a MVThe Blossom of Magnolia Flowersshows a miniature of the life of students in DUT.
4. Love poems to DUT are written and students run on the playground to make a pattern of “DUT66”, showing their love to the campus.
5. Plenty of volunteers clean the campus before the anniversary day.
6. The School badge is demonstrated in several innovative ways such as using carving technology and 3D printing.
7. Photos collection activities, for example photo competitions, are also held to express love to DUT.
8. Some places unfamiliar to people in DUT are displayed online for students to guess so as to improve their knowledge about the campus.
9. A jigsaw puzzle consisting of one thousand parts with wishes are completed on campus.
10. DUT Chorus gives a wonderful performance to celebrate the anniversary.
