The 17thCUBA in Liaoning Division was successfully held in Northeastern University which was sponsored by Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) and Education Department of Liaoning province and organized by Liaoning Student Sports Development Center, where 14 excellent women’s basketball teams and 6 high-level men’s basketball teams competed fiercely.
Both men’s and women’s basketball team in DUT got the initiative firmly in hands throughout the matches. Every player spared no pains and strived against their rivals from beginning to end, fully displaying good spirits and sporting excellence of DUT. After defeating the teams from Liaoning Keya College, Liaoning Medical University and Xinglin Medical College, the women’s basketball team reached the final as the No.1 of the group. The team then beat the longtime rival from Northeast University of Finance in the final. As for the men’s basketball, they cruised to victory over the teams from Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, Liaoning University, Anshan Normal University, Northeast University of Finance and Northeastern University to nab its championship.
Finally, both DUT men’s and women’s basketball team won the championship of the 17th CUBA in Liaoning division, which is an access to the Northeastern division. Wish them a victory in the following games through a serious summary and careful preparation.
