April 19 -- On the morning of April 19th, the unveiling ceremony of DUT Higher Education Academy is held in the Multifunction Hall of Bochuan Library. In front of all the guests, faculties and students from Graduate School of Education, Qu Zhenyuan, director of China Association of Higher Education and former party secretary of China Agricultural University, Wei Xiaopeng, party secretary of DUT, Zhang Dexiang, vice director of China Association of Higher Education and dean of Graduate School of Education, and Wu Daguang, vice director of China Association of Higher Education, leader of National Cooperative Group of Higher Education Institute and vice president of Xiamen University, jointly unveil the plaque for DUT Higher Education Academy. The ceremony is hosted by director of the school office Song Dan.
In fact, DUT has already attached great importance to the research of higher education and established special research institute in 1980. Earlier this year, DUT assessed the situation carefully and set up DUT Higher Education Academy on the basis of the former research center of the higher education. After the establishment, it is believed to contribute more to the undertaking of the first-class level of DUT under the guidance of the view of scientific development by improving education quality as well as achievements.
Jiang Dexue, standing vice party secretary of DUT, Zhang Yingqiang, vice leader of National Cooperative Group of Higher Education Institute and dean of School of Education of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Liu Guorui, vice leader of National Cooperative Group of Higher Education Institute and dean of Liaoning Education Research Institute, relevant leaders from Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences as well as all faculty and students of Higher Education Academy also attend the ceremony.
