April 23 -- With the invitation of School of Environmental Scienceand Technology, a delegation of chemicals risk prediction and management experts from the U.S, Netherlands, Japan and South Korea pays a visit to DUT to discuss the issues about 2015 International Symposium on Chemicals Risk Prediction and Management (ISCRPM-2015) held by DUT inX iamen. President Guo Dongming meets the delegation in the main building. People in charge of School of Environmental Scienceand Technology and International Cooperation and Exchange Office also attend the meeting.
President Guo Dongming extends his heartfelt welcome to the delegation and introduces the overall condition of DUT. He hopes the delegation can develop a better understanding of DUT after the visit and give some suggestions and support for the development of DUT.
Director of NCCT, Doctor Russell S. Thomas says DUT has made impressive progress in the area of computational toxicology, which is still an emerging discipline. He hopes the visit can step up exchanges and research experience as well as deepen the cooperation between two sides.
During the visit, both sides will negotiate to further the cooperation betweenChinaand theU.S.in computational toxicology research. Seven experts from the delegation will give reports and lectures to the students and young teachers ofSchoolofEnvironmental Scienceand Technology.
