April 29-30 -- On April 29-30th, Mukam Art Troupe fromXinjiangNormalUniversity gives two performances in DUT and opens the new season of DUT Culture Festival.
In accordance with their traditions, performers invite the audience to sing and dance together with them at the end of the performance, reaching a new climax. Isn’t it a delight to have friends coming from afar? The multinational stage shows the communication and fusion of Chinese traditional culture.
Being tolerant to diversity is one perpetual spirit and idea of blending multiracial cultures of DUT. Since 1980, the first year to enroll the minority students into preparatory classes, DUT has regarded the education of minority students and the exchanges of multiracial cultures as the core work. Other activities about minority cultures have been successfully held for many years, offering a platform for the minority students to spread their cultures.
As one of the earliest universities developing talent cultivation of minority students, DUT is a community for students from different nationalities to exchange and communicate. DUT hopes the outstanding minority culture can be known by more and more students and university staff.
