May 5 -- The National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Bridge and Tunnel Technology mainly led by DUT has received a formal approval from the National Development and Reform Commission, which means DUT has gotten 5 national innovation platform of engineering and technology. Apparently, it provides strong guarantee to participate in engineering and technology innovation including major national infrastructure projects. At the same time, the National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Computer-Aided Design which involves DUT also gets permission.
Based on bridge and tunnel research, as well as Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering in DUT and Security Engineering and Technology Laboratory of Bridge and Tunnel in Liaoning Province, the core technical team has achieved more than 55 national and provincial prizes, as well as 100 utility model patents and inventions. The laboratory keeps strong technical force, development capabilities and advanced equipments in the field of bridge and tunnel and establishes long-term stable cooperation relations with a lot of national enterprise technology centers which are rather renowned in the industry.
What's more, the National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Computer-Aided Design, which has been responsible for 25 national scientific research projects, will devote itself to researches including product design methodology and 3D data-processing project on the issue of the technological alteration and escalation of revitalizing northeast old industrial base.
