May 7-- DUT Undergraduates’ Annual Development Report of 2013-2014 School Year is officially released by Office of Students' Affairs. Professor Song Dan, vice president of DUT, attends the meeting and Zhang Yanjun, director of Office of Students' Affairs, gives a detailed report on interpreting the core content and important data. All staff from relevant departments also attends the meeting.
Song Dan notes that students’ affairs are an important component of college talents cultivation. DUT has always played a leading role among national universities in this sector. This annual development report comprehensively reflects students’ overall conditions, demonstrating that DUT is student-centered and considers the talents development as the starting point and foothold, which is an essential measure of DUT innovation in student working. In the end, Song puts forward new requirements and hopes for further improvement. He hopes that the faculty should be knowledgeable, capable and wise and become life mentors and bosom friends of students.
The report includes eight chapters, namelyIntroduction,Analysis of Ideological Dynamic Investigation,Education Analysis,Physical Health Analysis,Mental Health Analysis,Extracurricular Activities Analysis,Rewarding and Subsidizing AnalysisandConclusion and Prospects.From seven dimensions and 18 secondary indexes, the report conducts a panoramic survey and data analysis of students' growth and development. Zhang Yanjun says correct assessment is the premise of qualified work. With charts and words, the statistical analysis is accurate, objective, credible and effective.
Report work was launched on September 22, 2014, organized by Office of Students' Affairs in Party Committee and written by Faculty of Chemical, Environmental and Biological Science and Technology.
It is reported that the core data and interpretation will be released through the WeChat platform of "DUT Students’ Affairs" recently.
