May 26 -- The special inspection group sent by Ministry of Education visits DUT for state-owned property, which is led by Wu Yingyu, chief accountant of China Pharmaceutical University and Huang Ying, deputy director of Asset Management Office in Chongqing University with ten members from MOE Budget Supervision Center, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Dahua CPA.
Wei Xiaopeng meets the group and points out that state-owned property is one of the most important supports for university running. Comprehensive reform of higher education has entered into a critical period which requires universities blaze new trails for prevention and control of state-owned assets management risk and maintenance and appreciation of state-owned assets. The inspection visit is of great significance and DUT will perfect the related work in accordance with the requirements and guidance of the inspection group. Li Junjie, vice president of DUT is also present at the meeting.
In the morning, special inspection report meeting is held in Room 412 of Main Building. Huang Ying hosts the meeting and gives some explanations about the background, content, arrangement and requirements of the inspection of state-owned property in MOE-administrated universities.
Wu Yingyu says the group is of great help for regulating state-owned assets management in MOE-administrated universities and preventing the property risks. He hopes that DUT will pay high attention to the inspection and successfully complete the work. Besides, common problems in assets management will be discussed in the meeting.
Li Junjie says DUT has held a special preparation meeting for the inspection in advance, and they welcome any guidance and requirements. Li Wengang, director of Assets Control Office of DUT, gives a report on DUT state-owned asset management including its current situation and existing problems. Leaders from Audit Division, Logistics Division, Finance Department, etc. also attend the meeting.
