August 31 – Guo Dongming, president of DUT, had an interview with the chief designer of Shenyang Aircraft Design Institute (NO. 601 Institute) Wang Xiangming on the afternoon of August 31 at room 312 in the main building, accompanied by vice president Song Yongchen and related chargers of Institute of Science and Technology.
Guo extended warm welcome to Wang’s delegation. He said that NO.601 Institute is famous for its powerful research capability and complete specialties, which helps both sides to cooperate smoothly and to expand deeper cooperation in satisfying national strategy demand and enterprise technology demand.
Wang showed more potential cooperation in areas where DUT has accumulated profound foundation of both research and talent, such as 3D printing, equipment manufacturing, material processing. He hopes to co-build a cooperation platform which can integrate the research advantage and the enterprise demand in order to realize coordinated and win-win development.
After the meeting, Wang’s delegation visited the State Key Laboratory of Nontraditional Precision Machining and the State Engineering Research Center of Shipbuilding.
