Qin Dahe, the director of academic and publishing commission of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the vice director Zheng Lansun, visited DUT to launch a series of exchange activities to contribute to the university’s development.
Leaders of DUT convened a seminar in the multi-function hall of Bo Chuan library. The seminar was host by Wei Xiaopeng.
Wei extended warm welcome to all the academicians for their caring for the development of DUT. According to Wei, “the general project of promoting first-class university and discipline”has been approved by the deepening-reform central group, based on which DUT is to plan the development target, especially in team construction, talent education etc.
Academician Qin Dahe expressed thankfulness for DUT has successfully host the thirteenth session of the third meeting of the Academic Publishing Committee of CAS. He hopes to cooperate with DUT deeply with regard to academic journal publication.
The delegation also launched a batch of academic research exchange activities. Face-to-face interactions, advanced scientific research lectures were given in Faculty of Chemical, Environment and Biological Science and Technology, Faculty of Electronic Information and Electronic Engineering, to name but a few.
