DUT discussed interdisciplinary cooperation with Rutgers University

September 26 – On the afternoon of September 9, Prof. Lei Lei, the dean of Business School of Rutgers University and the alumni of DUT, came to discuss interdisciplinary cooperation on students. President Guo Dongming met Lei in room 312 in the main building, accompanied by related leaders from Office of Affairs, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Faculty of Chemical, Environmental and Biological Science and Technology, Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Management and Economics.

The two sides have had close exchanges: Guo visited Rutgers in May, Prof. Lei and Prof. Song Peng launched a return visit to DUT discussing 3+1+1 project fully. This time, Lei brought the detailed disciplinary program in order to exchange ideas with regard to major selection, credit recognition as well as tuition fee. The two sides reached an agreement of the future cooperation.

They also touched fields such as alumni resource development, staff exchange, joint training master program, summer school, and overseas training program.
