September 12 -- “Internet+” helps people to make innovation and create their own startup. On the morning of September 12 , the first Liaoning “Internet+”university innovation and business competition starts in Liu Changchun gymnasium of DUT, co-host by Liaoning provincial Department of Education, provincial Economic and Information Committee, provincial Department of Science and Technology, provincial Financial Department, provincial Service Industry Committee, host by DUT. There are more than 120 projects competing for prizes.
Attending the opening ceremony are Wei Xiaopeng, Zhu Hong from DUT and leaders from Liaoning Province including Mahui, Li Zhiyi, Chen Ruyi, Mu Baozhi, Meng Guangxin, Zha Taisen, as well as other related social elites.
Wei gave a speech about the current economic, social, scientific, and advanced educational development. Novel IT technologies, he said, represented by computer, Internet, IoT, big data etc. have change traditional production mode and social life. The competition is a chance to inspire university students’ innovation, show educational fruits of innovation and business, and formalize new norm of production. Later, Ma Hui, Li Zhiyi shared their opinions and experiences with regard to “Internet+”.
120 teams entering the final competition need to battle in small groups and then contend in the roadshow. Those who passes the roadshow will present the product with slides and have a face-to-face talk with angle investors.
It is acknowledged that the excellent teams are selected to prepare for the national “Internet+”university innovation and business competition in October.
