In order to accelerate the strategic of military and civilian integration, DUT and Northern Information Control Institute Group signed strategic cooperation agreement to build the strategic cooperative partnership, strengthen high level technological communication, and set up long term mechanism in academic communication. Both sides will have cooperation in frontier scientific research, applied basic research, key technology settlement and talent cultivation. The signing ceremony was held in conference room 512 main building on the morning of 13thOctober.
Before the ceremony, Guo Dongming President of DUT met with Li Dingzhu, General Manager of Northern Information Control Institute Group and the delegations in room 312 main building. The assistant of DUT president Luo Zhongxuan and deans from Science and Technology Research Institute and Faculty of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering accompanied by meeting.
During the meeting, both sides joyfully looked back the cooperative situation in the past few years and had agreement on the direction and content of cooperation in the future.
Mr. Guo welcomed Mr. Li and the delegation. He expressed that meeting the need of state strategy is the responsibility of DUT. And DUT will actively respond the military and civilian integration strategy; promote the close, efficient and pragmatic cooperation of both sides to make contribution for the construction of Chinese military and national defense. Mr. Li hoped that this cooperation relying on advantages of DUT in subject and talent can promote both sides to reach great achievements in dealing with Chinese important strategy.
After the ceremony, Mr. Li and the delegation visited DUT Liaoning major equipment manufacturing collaborative innovation center and Faculty of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering. In the afternoon, they went to Development Zone Campus to visit some laboratory and listened to the introduction of Development Zone Campus and achievement of software engineering.
Northern Information Control Institute Group consists of Nanjing North Information Industry Group, North Institute of Automatic Control Technology and China Institute of Arms and Industrial Applications Computer Technology. The group occupies more than 1,000 acres and has more than 2,000 employees. The existing total assets were nearly 4.4 billion. It has received a total of 314 scientific and technological progress awards above provincial and ministerial level, including 27 national scientific and technological progress awards.
