On 6 November, President Guo Dongming met Mr. Zhai Wenbao, the deputy Party chief of Jinzhou and Ms. An Jinxiang, the deputy mayor of Jinzhou in executive building.
Both sides held friendly talks over further cooperation between DUT and the city of Jinzhou. Mr. Song Yongchen, the Vice President of DUT, and relevant person in charge of Institute of Science and Technology of DUT attended this meeting as well.
President Guo firstly welcomed Mr, Zhai and his group. During the talks, he said that DUT has established a close partnership with Jinzhou through a long-term cooperation and hope that in this new generation, DUT and Jinzhou could combine their advantages respectively in skilled personnel and local resources of enterprises and universities so that they could conduct more interactions to fuel the economic development of local areas.
Mr. Zhai expressed his gratitude to DUT for supporting the economic and social developments of Jinzhou. He hoped that DUT may continue to exert advantages of education and researches to support the establishment of Songshan New District of Jinzhou and deeper cooperation will be reached between two sides.
After the meeting, Mr. Zhai and his group had a group discussion with Mr. Song Yongchen, professors and relevant person in charge of Institute of Science and Technology of DUT and School of Materials Science and Engineering over the topic of delivering specific projects.
