Chinese Academy of Engineering officially published the results of newly selected academicians on 27th November. Kong Xianjing, Professor of DUT is one of them. Wang Hansong, Secretary of Communist Party of DUT and Guo Dongming, President of DUT sent a letter to him to congratulate him to be a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Dear Professor Kong:
It is glad to hear that you are selected to be a member of Faculty of Civil, Hydraulic and Architectural Engineering of Chinses Academy of Engineering. We are all very happy and so proud of you. Here we on behalf of all DUT students and staff express our warm congratulations.
You were always studying in DUT from a undergraduate to a doctor. And after you graduated, you chose to work in DUT. You have made great contributions to the development of science, education and DUT reformation. You are successfully selected to be a member of Chinses Academy of Engineering. That is not only your personal honor but also all Duters'. It encourages and inspires all Duters.
DUT at present is deeply studying and spreading the spirit of 19th National Congress of CPC and marching to the goal of constructing world-class university that has distinct features. To achieve that goal, it needs all Duters to work together. And it also excellent teachers like you to keep acting with an owner mentality, inheriting DUT red gene, taking responsibility of “four services” to make newer and greater contributions to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation
