Chinses Academy of Science officially published the results of newly selected academicians on 28th November. DUT got good news again that Peng Xiaojun, DUT professor was selected to be a member of Chinese Academy of Science. Wang Hansong, secretary of Communist Party of DUT and Guo Dongming, president of DUT on behalf of all DUT students and staff sent a letter to him to express warm congratulations.

It is glad to hear that you are selected as a member of Faculty of Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Science. This is another good news for all Duters after Professor Kong was selected to be a member of Chinese Academy of engineering yesterday. We are all very happy, inspired and so proud of you. Let us on behalf of all Duters express warm congratulation to you.
You achieved your bachelor, master and doctor degree in DUT. And since you came back to work in DUT in 1992, you paid attention to the study of information printing and medical imaging dyes and had a lot of achievements. You made great contributions to the cause of talent cultivation and development of DUT. You are selected to be a member of Chinese of Academy of Science was not only your own honor but also the honor of DUT.
At present, DUT is deeply studying and spreading the spirit of 19th National Congress of CPC and marching to the goal of constructing the world-class university with distinct features. And talent is the core of all work. DUT will keep caring and supporting the work and development of you and other higher talents and make a better working environment.
