Wang Hansong, Secretary of the Party Committee of DUT Met Kirill Rudy (Кирилл Валентинович Рудый), the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to China

On the afternoon of December 19, Wang Hansong, secretary of the party committee of DUT, met with Kirill Rudy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Belarus, in Conference Room 312, the main building. Both sides conducted in-depth dialogues on cooperation and exchange in such fields as education and culture.

During his meeting, Wang Hansong said that the "Belt and Road” Initiative advocated by China and Belarus has responded positively to the countries along the country, including Belarus. The multi-level cooperation between our university and Belarussian State University is an active part of the "Belt and Road” Initiative. We hope that cooperation with Belarusian culture and education institutions will continue to be deepened and more outputs will be produced to contribute wisdom and strength to the "Belt and Road" Initiative.

 

Kirill Rudy said that the peoples of China and Belarus have a profound friendship. The Republic of Belarus is willing to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries along with big labor. Based on the existing achievements, the two countries will continue to broaden the breadth of cooperation and gradually deepen the cooperation. They will push bilateral relations to a higher and better level.

Assistant President Luo Zhongxuan, and relevant personnel in charge of International Office, School of Foreign Languages, DUT-BSU Joint Institute, School of International Education, and Graduate School of Education attended the meeting.

 

After the meeting, Ambassador Kirill Rudy held a special lecture entitled Belorussia and the Belt and Road Initiative for our teachers and students in the second lecture hall, introducing Belarus's economic, political, cultural and scientific achievements, As well as the interaction and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of high-level exchange of visits, humanities exchanges and economic and trade cooperation. He also answered questions raised by our students on the educational exchanges between the two countries.
