On the morning of February 8th, on the occasion of the coming of the Spring Festival, Wang Qiyao, Chairman of Dalian Municipal CPPCC( Chinese People's Political Consultative Committee), Li Pengyu, member of the Standing Committee and Head of Publicity Department, made a special trip to visit Mr. Shao Chunliang，the retired lecturer of DUT and also the national moral model. Song Dan, deputy secretary of the school party committee and vice principle, attended this visit.
Wang Qiyao and Shao Chunliang talked passionately to learn more about Shao 's living conditions. He highly appreciated that although Shao is retired, he still persisted in the front line of his educational cause. Mr. Shao expressed his gratitude to the city leaders for their concerns. He reviewed the his work as dealing with minority students’ affairs for many years and stated that, with physical permission, he would exert all his passion and heart to carry on his work, hoping can make more actual contributions to the developments of ethnic areas.
