This spring job fair was held in March 26th in Liu Changchun Stadium for all graduates. Over 550 companies and departments had a large need of thousands of workers and staff. Attending the job fair was Mr. Song Dan, the deputy party secretary and vice president of our university. With a good order, the graduates and leaders from schools, faculties and our university negotiated with the coming company to get more information about what kind of people they need and their attitude toward our university.
After the investigation of the participant companies and departments, it is glad to find that there's rapid increasing in the offer from key enterprises. And among all the offers, over half of them are from large state-owned enterprise and key colleges and universities. With the idea of economic restructuring and industry transformation and upgrading, there are many more enterprises, industries and models with new idea. And the new driving power in economy can provide the graduates more choices in finding their jobs. With in increasing needs in newly-developed area, the one who fits this kind of needs is eagerly welcomed.
It is known that our university focused a lot on national strategy such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration and the development in military, petrochemical industry and artificial intelligence. According to all the information above, we have invited many key enterprises and core industries to our job fair. And till now, there has already been 978 times of recruiting conference, 24.6% more comparing with last year.
We encourage all the students to perform their duty as to realize the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation. We have already held many different activities and speeches in order to help our students develop positive job-hunting concept and improve their employment competitiveness.
We also encourage those students who had not found their jobs to catch the opportunity to send out resumes for written and interview activities.
The job fair was held by enrollment and employment office and Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering with the support from different departments of our university.
