Mr. Rui Zhiyuan, the president of Lanzhou University of Technology（LUT） and his team paid a visit to DUT on March 27. Mr. Wang Hansong，the Secretary of DUT party committee， extended them a warm welcome. And DUT President Guo Dongming held a session to sign the support agreement with Rui.
During the meeting, Mr. Wang and Mr. Rui recalled their memory of cooperation and hope to sign the support agreement to help the construction of subjects, talents and scientific research, etc. of LUT. Therefore, we two universities can both serve the "One Belt And One Road" initiative by supporting economic and social development in the northwest region.
President Guo signed the support agreement with Mr. Rui and made detailed discussion about the agreement. Mr. Guo said that we would send teachers and students for exchange to help in improving the construction of Lanzhou University of Technology in different aspects so that we can serve not only Gansu Province but also the development of our country.
Mr. Rui also paid a visit to State Key laboratory of Fine Chemicals, State Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis for Industrial Equipment and Lingxi Library before signing the agreement.
According to the agreement, we would help the development of LUT with our talents and discipline advantages in order to accelerate the pace of "Double First-rate" construction and realize the goal of building a high level teaching-research university in China.
Relevant people in charge of University Office, Human Resources, Graduate School, Faculty of Chemical, Environmental and Biological Science and Technology, Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, School of Energy and Power Engineering and School of Marxism attended this meeting.
