A supervision group led by Mr. Liu Dawei, the party member and assistant minister of the Ministry of Eduction, paid their visit to Dalian University if Technology in order to make an investigation on the prevention and control of security risks in April 3rd. Mr. Wang Hansong, Mr. Guo Dongming, Mr.Song Dan, Mr, Song Yongchen, Mr. Xue Hui and Mr. Yao Shan and related people attended the activity.
They held a session in Room 412 of the Main Building for the reporting speech and further discussion. Mr. Wang Hansong gave his report on the basic situation of our university and introduced more details about our construction in political ideology, the security of the university and production condition. He showed great appreciation on the support of our university by the Ministry of Education and the provincial government of Liaoning. It would be a test to check the work of our university and an opportunity to improve ourselves. We would implement the requirement of the central government, the Ministry of Education and the provincial government to find out security problems.
After listening to the report, Mr. Liu Dawei said, the supervision was made in order to implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of CPC, to make a good beginning of the spring semester and to make sure the stability of education security. And Dalian University of Technology had made excellent performance in this area and had formed a rigorous and effective work system. He hoped that our university could keep the requirement in mind and focus on new problems in order to make better development in education.
He also expressed the idea that, as 2018 is a special year for it is the beginning year of implementing the spirit of the 19th National Congress, the anniversary year of the reform and opening-up policy and the key year of improving the education quality and teaching quality, it provide colleges and universities around China a great chance to improve their work on political philosophy. He hoped that Dalian University of Technology could perform its duty as an example with its respectable tradition.
Mr. Liu emphasized that both the provincial government of Liaoning and Dalian University of Technology should make mutual help to improve each other better.
After the session, the supervision group made on-the-spot inspections of the duty office and smart security command center, listened to the detailed information of DUT.
