On the morning of April 3rd, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the CPC and Governor Tang Yijun came to DUT to visit the Liaoning Provincial Key Equipment Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center to learn about technological innovation and results transformation, cooperation between production, teaching and research, and personnel training. Li Jinke and Tan Chengxu, leaders of Liaoning Province and Dalian municipal, took part in the survey.
Guo Dongming, President of DUT, gave a key introduction on the history of DUT, personnel training, discipline construction, scientific research and other basic situations and services of local economic and social development in Liaoning.
Tang Yijun fully affirmed the important contributions of DUT to the local economic and social development in Liaoning for many years. He hoped that the DUT would deepen the reform of higher education and science and technology system, earnestly implement the autonomy of colleges and universities, accelerate the transfer of scientific and technological achievements, and make greater contributions to promoting of the development of Liao Ning province.
