On the afternoon of April 11th, Jin Zhuanglong, the executive deputy director of the National Civil-military Integration Office, came to DUT for investigation and research. He conducted a field survey of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Major Machine Manufacturing in Liaoning and the State Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis for Industrial Equipment to investigate the implementation of civil-military integration strategies and related research in DUT. Tan Zuojun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Dalian Municipal Party Committee, and Liu Huanxin, member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee participated in the survey.
President Guo Dongming expressed his welcome to Mr. Jin Zhuanglong and his retinue, and thanked for the long-term guidance and support to DUT. President Guo introduced the basic situation of DUT from the historical evolution , personnel training, discipline construction, to the scientific research, and focused on building a special civil-military integration discipline, cultivating a civil-military integration research team, undertaking national defense scientific research projects, and promoting the modernization of national defense; The three aspects of integration of civil-military integration and the integration of local civil-military integration system introduced the main tasks of DUT around the integration of military and civilian. President Guo Dongming stated that DUT will firmly implement the strategy of the Party Central Committee on integration of civil-military and make greater contribution with new achievements.
In his investigation, the executive deputy director Jin fully affirmed the work carried out by DUT. He hoped that our university could deeply study and implement Xi Jinping's strategic thinking on the integration of civil-military development, and resolutely implement the decisions and deployment of the Party Central Committee, making colleges and universities the primary scientific and technological productive forces, the most qualified personnel resource and the first driving force of innovation, focusing on the frontiers of the strategy, accelerating innovation practice, and taking a more proactive approach as a further integration into the national civil-military integration system, striving to create a new situation in which civil-military integration will be developed in depth.
