On the morning of April 23rd, President Guo Dongming met with Rudolph Allman, Vice Chancellor of Cardiff University in the main building. Responsible persons from the International Office, Faculty of Vehicle Engineering and Mechanics, and Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering attended the meeting.
President Guo welcomed Rudolf Allman and made in-depth exchanged with the guests on their strategic cooperation in the fields of civil engineering, mechanics, chemical engineering, machinery, and construction, as well as joint personnel training.
Mr. Allman expressed that he hoped to promote the in-depth cooperation between the two universities through this visit, especially to strengthen the joint training of talents and scientific research cooperation in related fields, and to promote the cooperation among production, education and research of Cardiff University, DUT and China Communications Group.
After the meeting, Allman and his group met with the relevant persons in charge of the International Office, School of International Education, and the Graduate School, and went to Faculty of Vehicle Engineering and Mechanics and Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering to have further exchanges.
