On the evening of April 27th, Tan Zuojun, member of the Standing Committee of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Dalian Municipal Committee, attended the promotion meeting of the Xinghai International Forum for young scholars of Dalian University of Technology at the Bangchui Island Hotel. He highly appreciated the fact that DUT attracted the talents in all directions. He also sincerely welcomed the young talents to develop innovation and entrepreneurship, and to promote opportunities for development in Dalian. Bi Mingshu, Vice President of DUT attended the meeting.
Zhao Jianhua, Deputy Director-General of Organization Department of Liaoning Provincial Committee delivered a speech. Zhao Daguang, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and Organization Department, presided over the meeting. Related leaders Lu Lin, Xiong Boli, Li Pengyu, Liu Gang, and the responsible comrades of the relevant municipal departments attended the meeting.
Mr.Tan introduced the history of Dalian's urban development to the participating young scholars, explained the new achievements of Dalian's rejuvenation and development of the old industrial base from all perspectives, and described the vision and spatial layout of Dalian's future development.
Then, Mr. Tan emphasized the advantages of Dalian's technological innovation, and stated that Dalian has always attached great importance to talent work and would openly welcome young talents at home and abroad to create a favorable environment for development and create an aspirational highland.
After the meeting, Secretary Tan Zuojun had a face-to-face communication with everyone and answered specific questions such as entrepreneurial space, talent policy, and the development of new industries.
