On the morning of May 7th, Guo Dongming, President of DUT, met with Fang Xiangchen, the President of Dalian Petrochemical Research Institute, Li Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the labor union and their delegations in the 312 room, the main building. Relevant persons in charge of DUT office, Faculty of Chemical, Environmental and Biological Science and Technology attended the meeting.
Last year, DUT signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Dalian Petrochemical Research Institute. In this meeting, Mr. Guo and Mr. Fang discussed further cooperation in detail. Both sides stated that it was necessary to further combine the advantages of the two sides and achieve strong alliances, face the country’s major needs and the forefront of science and technology, combine the characteristics of the chemical industry and future development trends, build a groundbreaking and sustainable cooperation model, and promote substantive progress in cooperation to assist the rejuvenation of the northeast old industrial base.
