Min Yun, Vice Mayor of Huzhou, Zhejiang, paid his visit to DUT in order to extend the cooperation between their local development and our university. Wang Hansong welcomed them greatly. Guo Dongming, Song Yongchen, and relevant people from DUT Office and the Technical Research and Development Institute attended the meeting.
In the morning, Mr. Wang held the meeting in Room 312 of the Main Building to meet Mr. Min and his delegation. He expressed that, as the first new formal university established by the communist party of China for the construction of new Chinese industrial system, our university had always been keeping the mission of strengthening our country. He believed that the visit could give Mr. Min a chance to develop a further impression on DUT and strengthen the relationship to cooperate in more fields.
In the afternoon, Mr. Guo attended the session and exchanged his idea on how to cooperate with Huzhou government. Mr. Guo said that we had already achieved some experience and results in cooperating with local governments, therefore, he hoped that the two sides could reach consensus on cooperation and formulate effective solutions.
Mr. Min said that, Zhejiang province had introduced the development plan of education "13th five-year plan" and promoted education development. They paid much attention on the cooperation with Dalian University of Technology. Also, the local economic development of Huzhou is well matched with the advantage of DUT, they hope that further cooperation could bring Huzhou more talent and technology support.
The visit group also went to see State Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis for Industrial Equipment, State Key laboratory of Fine Chemicals and Panjin Campus.
