On May 14th, Guo Dongming, President of DUT met with Xu Jian, General Manager of the China National Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd., Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chief Engineer, in room 312, main building. Leaders of Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering and related teachers accompanied the meeting.
During the meeting, Mr. Guo and Mr. Xu had a pleasant review of the multi-year cooperation between two sides, and reached an agreement on further cooperation in the future. They said that both would actively serve the country’s major strategic needs and the main battlefield of the national economy in areas such as equipment manufacturing and smart manufacturing to contribute more.
After the meeting, Xu Jian made a special report on the project's vibration control for teachers and students of DUT. He introduced the challenges of engineering vibration, the vibration control technology of ancient buildings, and the standard system of engineering vibration control.
