The 10th Carnival of Dalian University of Technology was held in May 26th. President Guo Dongming and the vice presidents came and enjoy the happy time together with all students and teaching staff.
The Carnival was divided into five parts with different topics, "Creation", "Achievement", "Education", "Youth" and "Felicity".
"Creation": platforms to show the latest scientific research results and excellent works of innovation and entrepreneurship, including models of PLAN Liaoning, C919 and the LM5, the intelligent robot named "Tiago", Head-mounted infrared thermal image VR system, 3D printing equipment and so on, which attracted all the visitors and gained their praise.
"Achievement" part made up of three topics showed the achievement that we had made in the education of Marxist theory, which not only showed the students' feeling on the theory but also showed our determination and conviction to be young Marxists in the new era.
"Excellence" was the part which showed the achievements in education of undergraduate and postgraduate. The role models in different aspect inspired teachers and students to learn from them and be excellent in their own field.
"Youth" was the part for all students' groups and clubs. Stages were set for students to show their talent. Different clubs, including exercises and music bands, had their different attractiveness, which made all the participants enjoyed themselves a lot.
"Felicity" part located just beside our dorm provided all the customers with delicious fruit and snacks. President Guo Dongming cut the big cake into pieces, which was made to celebrate the anniversary of our university's establishment, and gave the cake to students and teachers.
