The China National Ethnic Song and Dance Ensemble gave their show on the evening of May 14th in DUT, which announced the beginning of DUT 9th culture festival. Song Dan, the vice president of DUT, the relevant people from different departments, the retired leaders and media attended the ceremony.
The culture festival was held to show the culture background and the attraction of DUT campus. The main line of this festival was to "carry forward the Chinese excellent traditional culture, revolutionary culture, the advanced socialist culture and keep the master red gene of DUT ". And the goal was to strengthen the culture consciousness and culture confidence of teachers and students. The opening ceremony was divided into seven parts according to the China National Ethnic Song and Dance Ensemble's performance.
After the opening ceremony, the ensemble brought the students and teachers singing and dancing programs with characteristics of different ethnic groups, for example the morin khuur solo from Inner Mongolia, the dancing of Daur and Yi people, and the Uyghur music solo, which were very attractive. Many comments were given to praise them and to show the appreciation of cultures of ethnic groups.
As a brand for the construction of university's culture, this festival in DUT was the effective carrier to improve the level of culture construction, an important approach to reveal the culture grade, and was also a festival for the entire teachers and students to celebrate. Since 2010, the culture festival had made a lot of innovation in the form. And the various kinds of activities were held to improve the culture level of teachers and students.
