The delegation led by Mr. Wang Hansong paid their visit to the European universities in order to strengthen the partnership and develop further personnel training cooperation.
They first visited the Royal Institute of Technology. Mr. Wang recalled the memory of the cooperation between our two universities together with President Mr. Sigbritt Karlsson and Vice President Mr. Stefan Östlund. They mainly focused on the platform of research center for polymer devices, the exchange and cooperation between the two sides. Mr. Wang signed the cooperation agreement and made further discussion about the joint training program for doctoral students.
In Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, Mr. Wang signed the students' exchange agreement with their vice present Rasmus Larsen and gave them a precious photo album prepared by Mr. Cheng Gengdong, which recorded our friendship. As an academician of our university, Mr. Cheng got his doctor's degree here. Both sides reached common goal to strengthen the cooperation.
Mr. Wang signed the cooperation agreement with Universitaet Duisburg-Essen in order to fulfill the need of internationalization and set platform for our students.
During the visit, the alumni association of our university settled its new branch in Germany. It helped to host the job fair of our university. With Mr. Wang Hansong's words and Mr. Lu Yufeng's introduction of our training plan, the fair was hosted by Mr. Jiang Tao, who is the first leader of the German Alumni Association.
Mr. Wang also signed some further training and exchange agreement with Technische Universität Darmstadt and Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen. They also discussed issues on establishing medical schools in technological universities.
We had achieved many progresses in this visit. The delegation had witnessed the founding of our new alumni association, the success of the job fail, the discussion on further education and the cooperation in different fields. We achieved not only reputation but also the partnership with those European universities.
Attending the delegation was relevant from Institute of Science and Technology, Faculty of Chemical, Environmental and Biological Science and Technology, Faculty of Vehicle Engineering and Mechanics and so on.
