President Guo Dongming extended his warm welcome to Mr. Hu Jun, the Standing Committee of Ningbo Municipal Committee and Secretary of Yinzhou District Party Committee on April 14th. They had a deep discussion on the further cooperation. Relevant persons in charge of University Office, Alumni Affairs, Confidential Office and Technical research and development institute also attended this meeting.
Yinzhou is located in the Yangtze River delta with prominent industrial advantages, active private enterprises and rapid economic and social development. Both the two sides hope to keep the close relationship in cooperation combining with local policy support and industrial economy to give full play to the advantages of science research and alumni resources so that we can realize the goal of a win-win situation for both our university and the local government based on the high level of scientific research, talent cultivation, transfer of achievements, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Hu was deeply impressed by DUT. As the advantages of DUT highly fitted the needs of Yinzhou's development, he hoped that both sides could create a new model of cooperation so as to promote transformation and upgrading of local enterprises and transfer of innovation results, and achieve a solid and fruitful cooperation.
Before the session, Mr. Hu visited the State Key laboratory of Fine Chemicals, State Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis for Industrial Equipment and Liaoning major equipment manufacturing collaborative innovation center.
It is known that, Yinzhou is one of the central urban areas of Ningbo city, which is also one of the 2017 national comprehensive strength top 100 areas .
