The 11th China International Patent Technology and Product Fair took place at Dalian World Expo Center from August 24th to 26th. Shen Changyu, Director of the State Intellectual Property Office, Wang Binying, Deputy Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Tan Zuoyu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Dalian Municipal Party Committee, Wang Mingyu, Vice Governor of Liaoning Province, and Tan Chengxu, Mayor of Dalian visited DUT’s exhibition area.
Led by Standing Committee of the School Party Committee and Vice President, Yao Shan, The Research and Development Institute of Technology organized the Collaborative Innovation Center of Major Machine Manufacturing in Liaoning, the Faculty of Chemical, Environmental and Biological Science and Technology, the Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, the Faculty of Electronic Information and Vehicle Engineering and Mechanics, the Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Mechanics, the School of Energy and Power Engineering, and the School of Materials and Engineering took projects to participate in this fair.
In this fair, DUT undertook an artificial intelligence and high-end equipment manufacturing exhibition area with an area of 1000㎡. The exhibition is divided into three major exhibition areas: Liaoning Major Equipment Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center Exhibition Area, Dalian University of Technology Exhibition Area and other enterprise exhibition area.
The scientific and technological achievements of DUT participated in the signing of major scientific and technological achievements transformation projects, the on-site inspection of patent applications, and the awarding ceremony of Liaoning Awards Project of the 19th China Patent Awards, which played an active role in promoting DUT’s patent application and transformation.
Approved by the State Council of China, sponsored by the State Intellectual Property Office and Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, China International Patent Technology and Products Fair is the only one of national class fair in patent field in China. DUT strengthens communication and cooperation between governments, enterprises, financial and investment institutions at all levels, expanding channels for the promotion of scientific and technological achievements, which contributes to accelerate technological transformation of DUT and promote the high-quality development of national industries and economy.
