Director Zhang Liangrui of State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence visited DUT

On the morning of September 13, Zhang Liangrui, Director of State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, visited DUT to investigate the situation of military and civilian integration. President Guo Dongming met visitors in Room 312 of the main building. The relevant people in charge of the Science and Technology Research Institute also attended the meeting.

President Guo Dongming welcomed Zhang Liangrui and his team. After a brief introduction about the situation of DUT' s military-civilian integration, he said that DUT has been approved as the university co-sponsored by State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence and the Ministry of Education, which provided strong support for the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy and the military-civilian integration development strategy. DUT would further integrate into the military-civilian integration system and deeply promote military and civilian integration.

Director Zhang Liangrui said that DUT has been doing well in the development of science and technology, and many disciplines were closely related to military industry. It was recommended that the school should further develop disciplines related to military industry, make overall plans, highlight advantages, in order to make the foundation for accurate support and scale development in the future. Through this survey, he hoped to have an in-depth understanding of the research features of DUT, better promote cooperation between the two sides, and jointly contribute to the implementation of the military-civilian integration strategy.

After the meeting, Director Zhang Liangrui and his team visited the State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals, the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Equipment Structure Analysis, and the Liaoning Major Equipment Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center.
