On the afternoon of September 18th, President Guo Dongming met Mr. Hao Zhaoping, Dean of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, together with his delegation in room 312 of the main building and communicated on further cooperation. Associate Dean Mr. Wang Guoqing, Dean assistant Mr. Zeng Dong and Mr. Gong Zhiming, and the relevant from both sides also attended the meeting.
President Guo said that over the years, DUT has maintained good cooperative relationship with the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, solved many key technical problems of the launch vehicle and contributed to the national aerospace industry. At present, the Party Central Committee attaches great importance to the military-civilian integration strategy, and the university has the ability and desire to make greater contributions to the aerospace industry. The university would gather superior resources and key forces to carry out scientific research according to the needs of national major strategies. The cooperation between the two sides has laid a solid foundation. It is hoped that both sides could strengthen cooperation and contribute to building the powerful country in science and technology.
Mr. Hao said that over the years, the technological and intellectual support provided by Dalian University of Technology has contributed to solving the technical problems of launch vehicles. New manned rockets and heavy rockets have been put on the agenda and there is broad space for cooperation between both sides in the future. It is hoped that the two sides could cooperate closely and integrate the strengths of both sides to produce more high-quality achievements and contribute to building the powerful country in aerospace.
Mr. Hao and his team also visited the State Key Laboratory of Structural Analysis for Industrial Equipment and Liaoning Major Equipment Manufacturing Collaborative Innovation Center to learn details about the scientific research of related disciplines.
