From October 10th to 11th, Yang Nengshu, the president of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, visited Dalian University of Technology. Mr. Wang Hansong, secretary of party committee of DUT, met with the delegation in the room 312 of the Main Building. The two sides discussed further exchanges and cooperation. Accompanied them in the meeting were Luo Zhongxuan, the president assistant, and the relevant leaders from the Graduate School, International Cooperation(including HongKong,Macao and Taiwan), Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, and School of Architecture and Fine Art.
Secretary Wang Hansong welcomed their visit and said that since the two universities signed the memorandum of academic cooperation in 2011, the two sides have conducted fruitful exchanges and cooperation at various levels. He hoped that this visit would be an opportunity to promote cooperation between the two sides.
President Yang Nengshu said that the delegation included many heads of schools and faculties as they hope to have a deeper understanding of the relevant disciplines development of Dalian University of Technology. They hoped to achieve a win-win situation by enhancing mutual understanding and promoting cooperation between the two sides,
During the visit, the delegation also visited Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, and School of Architecture and Fine Art. They conducted in-depth discussions on scientific research cooperation, students exchanges and innovative cultivation.
