On the morning of October 24, President Guo Dongming met with Lu Haiwei, Deputy General Manager of State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Company. and General Manager of State Grid Dalian Power Supply Company and his team in Room 312 of the main building. The relevant leaders of the Industrial Investment Company and the Campus Planning and Management Office attended the meeting.
During the meeting, President Guo Dongming expressed his gratitude to Dalian Power Supply Company for its strong support to the overhead high-voltage line landing project of DUT. He also pointed out that DUT would also implement its advantages in scientific research and personnel training to serve local economic and social development. It was hoped that the two sides would help each other and work together to create a win-win situation.
Deputy General Manager Lu Haiwei said that Dalian University of Technology was a national “double first-class” university and also an important force for local development. It was stated that Dalian Power Supply Company would fully support the construction and development of DUT, serving the construction of the beautiful and safe campus.
The two sides also exchanged views on specific issues such as power supply facilities and transmission lines around the campus.
