The 99th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th Committee was held on October 8th by the party committee of our university. During the meeting, the first round of inspection work plan was deliberated and passed. Secretary Wang Hansong held the meeting and made requests on the first-round inspection work. Deputy Secretary Li Chengen explained the relevant information about the work, and Mr. Yang Yuxin, the Director of Inspection Office made his report to the party committee of the university.
Secretary Wang Hansong stressed that carrying out inspections in the university was an important task in implementing the requirements of the Party Central Committee and promoting the development of the university. Firstly, members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of our university should raise their political positions, fully understand the significance of the inspections, and deeply understand the major arrangements of the Party Central Committee in promoting inspections. Secondly, we must continue to strengthen the Party self-discipline and maintain the enthusiasm for inspection and rectification. Based on the achievement of the inspection and rectification in the early stage, we should continue to grasp the new spirit and requirements in time and deepen the effect of rectification. Thirdly, it was necessary to strengthen executive force through the inspection in the university, promote the development of the cause and resolutely prevent and rectify the problem of inaction and slowness in order to guarantee the implementation of all work; it was necessary to combine the strengthening Party Self-discipline with the strict management of education and university and combine the centralized inspection with the daily supervision in order to create a sound environment for the development of the university.
During the meeting, the list of the first round of inspection units in the university was reviewed and approved and the first round of inspection groups were set up. Every group contained 1 group leader, 2 deputy group leaders, and 6 group members (including 1 liaison). At the same time, it was determined that the first round of inspection was officially launched in mid-October 2018.
