Dalian University of Technology (DUT) was admitted as Asia Dyestuff Industry Federation (ADIF), which was announced at the Joint Information Event in the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.
Advocated by the China Dyestuff Industry Association, the ADIF is a social organization composed of dyeing industry associations and dyeing pigment manufacturers and dyeing pigment enterprises in various Asian countries. The ADIF will strengthen international exchanges. Its aim is to build a new communication platform for Asian dye-related units, promoting cooperation through international forums, seminars and exhibitions, and creating opportunities and conditions for bilateral and multilateral cooperation. ADIF assists members in product and technology innovation, promotes the development of the Asian dye industry, and continuously promotes environmental protection.
DUT has a high reputation in the dye industry inside and outside China. It established a dye major at the foundation time. It has trained a batch of outstanding talents for the development of China's dye industry for many years. The State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals of DUT has achieved cheerful results in high-fixation rate reactive dyes, leather dyes, and bio-detection functional dyes. Approved to be one of the members of ADIF, DUT will actively cooperate with Asian ADIF to make greater contributions to the technological progress of the dye industry.
