DUT Professor Elected to Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry

Professor Wang Zhiyu from State Key Laboratory of Fine Chemicals, Dalian University of Technology has received the certificate announcing that he has been elected as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in recognition of his research contributions.



Professor Wang Zhiyu’s research focuses on the design and fabrication of advanced functional materials, especially the carbon-based hybrid materials, for energy storage and conversion applications (e.g., lithium secondary batteries and electrochemical catalysis, etc.), which facilitates the large-scale adaptation of renewable energy.

The Royal Society of Chemistry was established in 1841, which is the international authoritative academic institution and one of the most influential societies in the world. Individuals are eligible to become Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry due to their excellent achievements in chemical science research or great contribution to the development of chemical sciences.
