On March 22, 2021, The Joint Institute of Dalian University of Technology and Belarusian State University (DBJI) was approved by the Ministry of Education to establish three master's programs and five doctoral programs for joint training, and is scheduled to start enrollment in 2021. So far, DBJI has officially become a Sino-Belarusian cooperative institution with a comprehensive training system of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree.
Three master’s joint training programs are Condensed Matter Physics, Engineering Mechanics, and Optical Engineering; five doctoral joint training programs are Physics, Mechanics, Applied Mathematics, Optical Engineering, and Economic System Analysis and Management.
All the above joint training programs are taught in English, and graduates can obtain the globally recognized diploma and degree of Dalian University of Technology and the degree of Belarusian State University. Both master’s degree education and doctoral degree education are included in the national master’s and doctoral degree enrollment plan. The candidates will take the national entrance examination for postgraduates or doctoral students and are admitted according to the national master’s and doctoral degree enrollment policy.
Since its establishment in 2017, DBJI has been highly valued and supported by the governments of both countries and both universities. The Institute will further strengthen educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Belarus, and cultivate more high-level international talents for China and Belarus.
